Gilbert
brings over 25 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare field spanning
a wide-variety of service delivery models and systems of care.
Board Certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Gilbert has provided
his expertise in various clinical and administrative capacities including inpatient
psychiatric, residential sex-offender and residential eating disorders settings as
well as the prison health system. Most recently he was the Director of Nursing,
Quality Assurance, Risk Management & Medical Records at Pennsylvania Clinical
Schools and the Director of Staff Development at The Horsham Clinic.
As a Senior Director and Administrator, Gilbert has provided clinical leadership
and teambuilding initiatives with other facility directors, provided initial
crisis intervention leadership and developed and implemented patient care and
"best" practice standards. He has coordinated all clinical, financial and
administrative aspects of inpatient behavioral health Services and facility-wide
Joint Commission accreditation preparations and compliance and Quality
Assessment and Performance Improvement initiatives.
Gilbert earned a Masters in Business Administration from Eastern University
and is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as a Registered Nurse. |

Mary has
extensive experience as a nurse and manager, working in the
behavioral health field for twenty nine years. She started
with Child Abuse Prevention, working with autistic children
in a school setting. Subsequently, Mary worked as a
Supervisor for Residential Treatment Facilities and Group
Homes in the community, providing services to adolescent
girls and boys. Mary has been a Nurse Manager for several
psychiatric facilities and Director of an Adult and
Adolescent Acute Partial Program. Most recently, Mary was
the Nurse Manager of two inpatient psychiatric units at
Fairmount Behavioral Health system before being promoted to
her current position. Mary is a Registered Nurse and Board
Certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. |

Jeremy Willard,

Jeremy Willard has been with Fairmount since 2008, first as a staff nurse and then as a Nurse Manager for our Child and Adolescent Program. Jeremy has been instrumental in the recent growth of this department over the last couple of years, serving as both a manager and role model for the employees at Fairmount. Jeremy's success led to his promotion to the position of Director of Child and Adolescent Services, in August 2011. In addition to being an exceptional clinician, Jeremy has management experience that extends beyond the field of behavioral healthcare. Prior to his nursing career, he spent 6 years as an Operations Manager for a well-known coatings manufacturer, which included the development of work opportunities, the management of personnel, and the delivery of outcomes to cultivate customer loyalty. Jeremy has been a Registered Nurse since 2008. |

George F. Collins, Psy.D, MBA is the Director of Psychological and Social
Services at Fairmount Behavioral Health. He is a licensed psychologist who has
directed Outpatient, School Based Behavioral Health, and Extended Assessment
programs in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties. He has provided a broad range
of to children, adolescents, adults, and elders, including
psychotherapy, assessment, and consultation, since finishing his internship in
2004 at Keystone Center, a UHS facility serving people recovering from
co-occurring disorders.
Dr. Collins graduated from Widener University with a Doctorate in Clinical
Psychology and Masters in Business Administration. His areas of interest and
specialization include supervision and training of masters and pre-doctoral
level clinicians, program development, group process, working with people
recovering from and managing major mental health diagnoses, working with
people who are navigating ambivalence and change, therapeutically-driven
assessment services, application of research-supported treatment methodologies
for co-occurring disorders, and effective short-term therapies in the
inpatient setting.

Adrian began his career at Fairmount as a Psychiatric Technician in 2007.
He received his Masters degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from
LaSalle University in May 2008. Adrian began working as a Primary Therapist
at the Partial Hospitalization Program upon completion of his graduate studies.
In October 2010 Adrian was promoted to Interim Clinical Supervisor of the
Acute Partial Hospitalization Program and then to his current position, as Program
Manager, in December 2010.
Throughout his four years of undergraduate study at East Stroudsburg University,
Adrian was employed by Fitzmaurice Community Services inc. where he worked with
chronic mentally ill adults in group homes. He also has experience providing therapeutic
support services to children with autism and behavioral problems, in addition
to working with adolescents in residential treatment.

Deb has been at Fairmount for the last fourteen years. Prior to joining Fairmount, Deb worked in various management positions with a behavioral health managed care company. Deb has extensive experience as an Addictions Counselor working with dually diagnosed men and women at numerous outpatient treatment facilities throughout the Philadelphia area.
Deb has a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral and Health Services from Philadelphia University.
Deb is a Certified Addictions Counselor and Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with the PA Certification Board.

Brian joined
Fairmount Behavioral Health System in 2007 as Director of Quality Improvement.
The following year, he assumed leadership of the Risk Management Program,
acting as the Patient Safety Officer, Facility Compliance Officer, Privacy
Officer, and Risk Manager. Immediately prior to joining the Fairmount team,
Brian spent 6 years as the Director of the Crisis Response Center at Albert
Einstein Medical Center. In that role, he was instrumental in the development
of the Crisis Response model of delivering emergency psychiatric services to
children and adolescents—the only such service in the region. Brian began his
career in behavioral health services working in group homes for the
developmentally disabled, and has spent 30 years as a clinician, supervisor,
director, and administrator in substance abuse and mental health outpatient
settings. For several years he maintained a private practice, treating
individuals with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders.
An Ohio native, Brian moved to the Delaware Valley in 1992. He earned his
undergraduate degree in Psychology from Kent State University, and a Master's
degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University. |

Kendall L.
Adkins, MPH is the Director of Quality Assurance and
Performance Improvement at Fairmount Behavioral Health
System. Her primary responsibility is to ensure patient
safety and quality of care. Ms. Adkins works closely with
all departments to identify opportunities for performance
improvement. Upon trending analysis, departmental action
plans are developed and progress is monitored. Ms. Adkins
works to ensure Fairmount Behavioral Health System functions
in accordance with the regulations set forth by the
Department of Public Welfare as well as maintains its
accreditation status by The Joint Commission.
Ms. Kendall L. Adkins received her Master’s degree in Public
Health from The George Washington University in Washington,
D.C. Prior to working for Fairmount, Ms. Adkins served as
the Quality Assurance Coordinator for Pennsylvania Clinical
Schools where she was later promoted to Director of Risk
Management and Quality Assurance. |

Christine Sloan joined the medical staff as the Family Nurse Practitioner on February 8, 2009. Christine graduated cum laude from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Christine has worked as a staff nurse and a nursing supervisor. She has practiced in several areas of nursing, including surgical trauma, medical surgical, sub-acute rehabilitation, and geriatrics. Christine enjoys teaching her patients and fellow nurses. She has developed many educational programs for nurses and recently created a health promotion group for the adolescents at Fairmount. In June of 2007 and 2008, Christine was the recipient of the SEPANPHA nursing scholarship. She also received the Pennsylvania Higher Education nursing scholarship in August 2007. In August of 2009, Christine graduated summa cum laude as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. Most recently, she received a Post Masters degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist in May 2011 from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. Currently, Christine is continuing her education in order to complete a second Post Masters degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. |
