This continuing education activity has been applied for with the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Three (3) continuing education hours have been applied for with the PA Chemical Abuse Certification Board; PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.




Family Involvement Program

These are informational meetings where people can learn how to deal with the impact of mental illness. Our Family Involvement Program is facilitated by one of our Masters level Allied Therapists and is open to all family members as well as the community. These are informational meetings where people can learn how to deal with the impact of mental illness. Education is provided about diagnoses, treatment options, and aftercare as well as support to those who are being impacted by their loved ones illness. This program also serves as a liason between families and treatment teams. The Family Involvement Program is geared towards families, friends and caregivers of adult patients.

Adult Program Session: Every Thursday, 5:30pm - 6:30pm

(Family Opportunity for Communication, Unity and Success) - For Parents of Child or Adolescent Patients Only

Facilitated by a family therapist, social worker or other qualified staff who specialized in child and adolescent psychiatric issues. This group provides opportunities to educate parents about their childs' developmental level, appropriate behavioral expectations, and limit setting techniques, and to provide emotional support for the youth's caretaker(s). (For Parents of Child or Adolescent Patients Only)

Tuesday 5:00-6:00pm (Tuesday Group is also followed by a half hour of Medication Education from 6:00-6:30pm)
Thursday 6:00-7:00pm
Sunday 2:00-3:00pm
