Family Involvement Program
These are informational meetings where people can learn how to deal with the impact of mental illness. Our Family Involvement Program is facilitated by psychiatrists, Masters level clinicians and registered nurses and is open to all family members as well as the community.
Child/Adolescent Program Session: Every Tuesday, 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Adult Program Session: Every Thursday, 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Parent Education and Support Group (Fairmount F.O.C.U.S.)
Facilitated by a family therapist, social worker or other qualified staff who specialized in child and adolescent psychiatric issues. This group provides opportunities to educate parents about their childs' developmental level, appropriate behavioral expectations, and limit setting techniques, and to provide emotional support for the youth's caretaker(s). (For Parents of Child or Adolescent Patients Only)
Family Focus Group Schedule:
Tuesday 5:00-6:00pm (Tuesday Group is also followed by a half hour of Medication Education from 6:00-6:30pm)
Thursday 6:00-7:00pm
Sunday 2:00-3:00pm
