Fairmount Behavioral Health Welcomes New CEO
Charles McLister
For over 80 years, you have relied on Fairmount Behavioral Health System to serve the
community in Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey. A transformation that began several years ago has positioned Fairmount to become the premier provider of behavioral health services in our region. We have raised our expectations; we expect to be the best behavioral health treatment facility and an excellent place to work.
Geoff Botak, our CEO for the past five years has been instrumental in this transformation by
recruiting quality staff and senior managers and placing an emphasis on a treatment approach that incorporates safety, patient respect and good clinical outcomes. Over the past two years, Geoff has assumed additional corporate responsibilities as a Regional Vice-President for Universal Health Services in which he has oversight of seven Pennsylvania behavioral health facilities. Geoff's additional responsibilities have limited the time that he has been able to dedicate to Fairmount and so he recently made the decision to recruit a new CEO.
I would like to introduce Charles McLister, who has assumed the position of CEO at Fairmount
effective October 19th. Chuck has extensive senior management and multi-facility experience in the realm of youth residential services. He has a proven track record of transforming vision into results and demonstrates a strong work ethic and dedication to success. I am very excited to have Chuck on board as he leads Fairmount towards a very promising future as the largest behavioral health facility in the region; we are currently building a 54-bed state-of-the-art unit to further expand our quality child/adolescent services.
Fairmount Behavioral Health will maintain the philosophy of Service Excellence as our pledge
to providing exceptional customer service to our patients, referral sources, employees and its
payers. Our dedication to providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment begins with our highly credentialed, compassionate team of physicians, nursing staff, therapists and counselors.
We are fortunate to have a staff of extremely competent and caring individuals who are
committed to meeting your patient's healthcare needs. Our ultimate goal is to set ourselves apart from all other behavioral health hospitals.
Fairmount's future is bright, and with Chuck's experience and leadership style, we are well
positioned to successfully meet the region's healthcare needs. We anticipate the upcoming years with excitement and look forward to maintaining a strong collaborative relationship with you.
Sincerely,
Jerry B. Kosmin
